Get the best of both worlds by earning top dollar at your favorite designer store and receiving generous employee store discounts at Silver Sands Factory Stores! Last year, Silver Sands announced its Midnight Madness event, making it the first shopping center in the region to open at midnight on the day after Thanksgiving, also known as Black Friday. Midnight Madness not only means extended hours and more shoppers but also more employees, and the event was so successful last year that it is back by popular demand. Silver Sands is hosting a series of “Shop for a Holiday Job” fairs on five consecutive Wednesdays – October 21, October 28, November 4, November 11 and November 18 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
During the “Shop for a Holiday Job” fairs on October 21 and October 28, the JobsPlus 40-foot Mobile One-Stop vehicle will be stationed at Silver Sands from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The unit will be equipped with twelve computer stations with internet access, flat screen televisions both inside and outside for training and class presentations, an outdoor canopy, a sound system and a generator to provide its own power. The JobsPlus Mobile One-Stop vehicle will facilitate the hiring process during the “Shop for a Holiday Job” fairs at Silver Sands.
Applicants are able to begin their job search at Shopper Services, located near Michael Kors, and complete a profile sheet that will be accepted by all 100 stores and restaurants. Complimentary copies of the profile sheet, a list of job opportunities and benefit information will be distributed. Stores will be reviewing applications and hiring seasonal help from now until the end of the holiday season.
