Event Description:
Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) and the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida (HM) have been awarded a $3,000 Partnership Grant from the Florida Humanities Council to provide free public programs for the continuing series Florida: Then and Now, now in its fifth year locally.

The series of free, public programs start November 4 with a presentation by Pat Duggins based on his book Beyond the Final Countdown: NASA and the End of the Space Shuttle Program. Duggins, National Public Radio’s space expert, will also include information about Eglin’s contributions to the US space program in his 1:00 pm presentation in the College Mall Gallery, Building K at the Northwest Florida State College Niceville Campus.
