Event Description:
The City of Destin’s Annual Pin Fish Tournament - 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.
Location: Docks behind AJ's Attention all anglers under the age of 14! The City will host its Annual Classic Pin Fish Tournament (Catch and Release) on Saturday November 7th. Bring your own pole and we'll supply the bait. You must fish on the pier/dock behind AJ's Restaurant. Registration is 8:30am. Start Time: 8:45am. Awards: 9:45am. Cost: Free to all youth. First 50 participants receive a T-Shirt. For more information call 650-1241.
Boat rides, fishing demos & other water activities - 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: The Capt. Royal Melvin Heritage Park. That's the City's newly acquired harbor front property located at 204 Harbor Blvd. between Dewey Destin Harborside and the Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant.
- Locals will be able to participate/watch various fishing demonstrations to increase their know-how. Win prizes!
- Sign up for cruising the bay and inlet on several Destin sightseeing boats, for FREE.

- Watch demonstrations by the Destin Fire Control District.
- Visit with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office harbor patrol unit.

“Meet the Captains” Fish Fry - 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Location: The Capt. Royal Melvin Heritage Park. Lunch plates full of local fish and sides prepared by local experts. It's the best around!
Music on the Harbor - 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Opening Act: Still to be determined
Headline Act: Dread-Clampett (from 3:00-6:00)
A reggae-bluegrass fusion band that's very, very popular in the Destin area.
Fireworks over the Destin Harbor - 7:00 p.m.
We close this weeklong birthday celebration with Fireworks over the Destin Harbor. It will be a fitting closing to this historic mileston in the City of Destin's history.
