Event Description:
Northwest Florida State College, the Walton County School District, and the DeFuniak Springs Rotary Club are hosting CareerFest 2009 on Tuesday, November 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the NWF State College Chautauqua Center in DeFuniak Springs, located at 908 Highway 90 West.
CareerFest provides an opportunity for juniors and seniors from the five Walton district high schools as well as members of the public to learn about occupations and careers through personal conversations with professionals from various career fields. More than 70 business and educational leaders will be on hand to share their expertise and assist participants with career planning. Representatives include professionals from the health services, public safety, computer science, engineering, construction, business, financial, hospitality, and many other career fields.
